Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern use of the Nalgene online store and purchases of our reusable water bottles, outdoor hydration products, storage containers, and bottle accessories. By using the store or placing an order, you agree to these terms and our posted policies.

Store Eligibility and Acceptable Use

You must be legally able to enter a binding agreement and provide accurate, current information. You may not misuse the store, interfere with its security or operation, introduce malicious code, scrape the site unlawfully, violate another person’s rights, or use our services for unlawful activity.

Product Information

We work to present descriptions, specifications, compatibility details, colors, images, prices, and availability accurately. Displays and product details may vary, and we may correct genuine errors or update information. Review the applicable product page before ordering.

Orders and Acceptance

Your checkout submission is an offer to purchase. An order acknowledgment does not by itself mean the order has been accepted. We may verify payment, address, inventory, quantities, or suspected fraud and may reject or cancel an order for a legitimate reason. If we cancel after collecting payment, we will issue the appropriate refund to the original payment method.

Prices, Currency, and Taxes

All checkout amounts are in United States dollars (USD). Prices may change before an order is placed. Applicable sales tax is collected where required by law and displayed at checkout; we do not promise that every order or location is tax-free.

Payment

Eligible cards on the Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, American Express, JCB, Diners Club, and Discover networks may be accepted through checkout. We do not claim that installment plans, cryptocurrency, or another payment method is available unless it is visibly enabled at checkout.

United States Shipping

We ship only within the United States. All United States orders receive free standard shipping with no minimum purchase. Orders placed by 5:00 PM Eastern Time (ET) on a business day generally enter a separate 1–2 business-day processing period. After carrier handoff, transit generally takes another 4–6 business days. Tracking is provided after shipment. These are estimates rather than guarantees when events outside our reasonable control occur.

Cancellations, Returns, Exchanges, and Refunds

You may request cancellation before shipment. After shipment, the Refund Policy applies. Eligible products may be returned for any reason within 30 days after delivery. We support exchanges, pay eligible return shipping, provide a free prepaid return label, and charge no restocking fee. Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method after receipt and inspection; banks generally take 5–10 business days after issuance to post them.

Customized items, clearance or Final Sale items, gift cards, and opened intimate, personal-care, or hygiene-sensitive items are excluded from ordinary change-of-mind returns. Those limitations do not reduce remedies for products that arrive damaged, defective, incorrect, or incomplete.

Intellectual Property

Store content, branding, graphics, text, and site materials are owned by or licensed to their respective rights holders and are protected by applicable law. No right to reproduce, distribute, modify, or exploit that material is granted except for ordinary personal shopping use.

Third-Party Services

Shopify, payment providers, carriers, and other third parties may provide parts of the service. Their own terms may apply to services they operate. We are not responsible for third-party sites reached through optional external links.

Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the store and its content are provided without warranties beyond those expressly stated or legally required. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses where such exclusions are lawful. Nothing in these terms excludes liability or consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.

Indemnification

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to be responsible for losses arising from your unlawful misuse of the store or material breach of these terms. This provision does not apply where prohibited by consumer-protection law.

Changes, Severability, and Governing Rules

We may update these terms prospectively by posting a revised version. If part of these terms is unenforceable, the remainder continues to the extent permitted. Applicable federal and state laws govern without limiting mandatory consumer protections available to you.
